Preparations for winter

I took my bike to Citybikes and had them put snow tires on it, the knobby tires that came with the bike when I bought it. It helps with the leaf glop on the streets here, even if it will be too cold to ride in December.
I also dug out my Sorels to see if they still fit, and my warm Timberland boots. Now if I can only find my Polarguard parka!

to marcia, ross, and all those from portland.
good idea about the warm attire. winter showed up in mn today. cold, snow (a little) and wind. sometimes i wonder why we live in here.
to those concerned: we (as a family) are very happy and excited to have marcia and ross so much closer. down the road we may all move back out to the wonderful northwest. the most beautiful area i've ever been to.
hope all goes well with the move and the travel. will see you when you get here.
love, brother paul
